I believe that Destiny will finish with around 55+ million sales across all platforms, which is right in front of Minecraft (I'm not going to count Wii Sports since that was a bundle-only game).

The game has a $500,000,000 budget for marketing and development, and is planned to have a much longer life-cycle than most games. Not only that, but it's releasing on 4 consoles too, with a PC release not completely out of question.

It also helps that it has some serious developer recognition beind it (Bungie), and that the game actually looks like it'll live up to the hype and more.

Now, I'm probably horribly, terribly wrong on this, but for some reason it makes sense in my head, lol

After thinking it over, I realized I must have been possessed or something when I made this thread, cause no way is it going to match Minecraft on a new generation. My new prediction is 25 million

hmm... I am betting 15-20 mil tops, also, if you are not going to include Wii Sports, then you should also chunk out a bunch of destiny as it will be a big bundle seller as well. Youmight have to shave a few million off.

Seems like with just the current level of hype, 15 million is guaranteed. To get higher than that will require amazing word of mouth.

Hmm, the only reason I don't think so is cause its a new IP cause heck, not even GTA can reach that high but anything can happen so I wouldn't surprised if it does

I can see it hitting around 20 mil, especially with the White PS4 bundle coming out as well.
