if ps4 isn't in first every week, then it will be a closer race than the seventh gen. yes, its possible that the ps4 can be outsold. as this thread is all about, microsoft and nintendo are gaining ground. 


Well make a thread when X1 or wiiu manage to out sale the PS4.  

Anything is possible how likly it is though is another story in a universe far far away.

Destiny will do as watch dogs, help PS4 and do nothing for X1 then you got the holidays where PS4 gets the superior running third parties.  Its incredable how well PS4 is doing despite everything MS and ninty are throwing at it.  Look at future game releases and potential PS4 price cut one day.  

PS4 will flat out destroy them when it start rolling out its big guns, and the historically PS oriented franchises from 3rd parties.  

Nothing is changing in the industry, PS4 just took all they could throw at it and laughed back at them.

thats a very fair and reasonable request. i suspect that it will be much closer than what we have seen during the beginning of this generation.

The PS4 has so far shown to have a baseline of 100k per week. Before price drop the XB1 had a baseline of around 45k and before MK8 the wiiU had a baseline of around 30k per week. Let see how sales are in august, if the wiiU and XB1 manage to hold at thier current baselines then it means they are improving, if tey drop then it means they aren't.

nintendo hasnt thrown everything at them that they can. nintendo has only released like two games this year which is pathetic. microsoft has released like one and so has sony. piss poor support by all console manufacturers if you ask me.. all i am saying basically, is that sony isnt going to be able to dominate because of the hype that was created in 2013 this entire generation. theyre going to have to do something more than that. 

i work at a video game store (im in it right now actually lol) and i cannot tell you how many people come in who bought ps4 and an xbone for that matter and are so disappointed with the lack of games. mainly ps4 though. i see SO MUCH buyers remorse for that console. they look at our shelf of games for the system and its like yeah.. im not going to buy anythign today.
