Ok lets begin from the start.

About a year or more ago some guy predicted a number of Smash Bros characters that are going to make it in the next Smash bros game and so Far all of the characters that were announced were part of his list, including, yes believe it, even Wii Fit Trainer. However, Rosalina was the only missing character from his list. Anyways, he also predicted characters like Chrom and Shulk, whom I love very much considiring both of them are the protagonists of 2 of my favorite games of all time.

A few month ago the voice actor of Shulk said he was making the voice of Shulk in Smash Bros (Another big hint).

Today Nintendo of America and Japan said they will be revealing a new Smash Bros Character on Monday.

And finally one of Xenoblade's developers tweeted to tell people about the fact that Nintendo will be showing a new character on monday. As some of Nintendo direct followers know, if Monolith Soft tweets about a certain Nintendo event, they are probably related. They did the same thing about Nintendo Directs that had X's footage.

So are u excited, disappointed or dont even care?

Ridley or Bayonetta would have been better

I would prefer Bayonetta, since she would be a better character considiring her huge arsnel of moves and weapons. She also makes more sense since Shulk isnt in X and Bayonetta is in Bayonetta2. But I dont really want Ridley to make it into the game. He has wings and he is big and wont fit even with size adjustments.

I like Shulk better personally, so I'm happy. Saying that Bayo would also be cool.

But anyway, I don't know what Shulk could do.....but I want him anyway and he is on my preidction roster (even before gematsu leak was proved true.).

He did not mention Rosalina though but I called her months ago and said for Dec :P.

Which leads me to believe there will be even more.

Well.....there HAS to, Dixie Kong is on my gurantees list which hasnt been wrong before.....so......yeah! XD

I do like Xenoblade more than Bayonetta 1, but i like Bayonetta as a character more than Shulk.

I want Bayonetta, gosh dangit

You haven't even played Xenoblade. But let's put it into perspective. Just a question first, when did SSBU's development start? What e3 did they first announce it?
