resolution doesn't matter? no need for the new consoles then. back to 640/720p. An extra 20p meant so much last gen but suddenly 720-900-1080p are all the same. cool story.

It is not there this is PR speak from a company who is trying to spin, do you believe everything PR folks say?  If there is no diff why is MS pushing to keep improving the resolution, and why can many see the difference on there 1phone screens? Articles like this insult peoples intelligence.


I know that it is PR speak.

The more humorous part is how people have blindly accepted the forum dwellers opinoins.  Of course the PS4 is more powerful than the XB1.  Of course in most of the multiplats, the PS4 has better graphics.  The real point is that the PR guy is right to a point.  Unless you are putting them side by side on larger screens, the differences are hardly noticeable if you are just playing the game, not trying to count pixels.

I would hope by this point people aren't debating the power difference between the two consoles(PS4>XB1), but more concerned about the exclusives and gameplay.


Forum Dwellers???? It is a scientific fact 1080p looks betgter then 720p, on even a small screen..period, right forum dweller?  hE IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL, ABOUT ANYTHING. They are easily noticeable, heck even in small compressed images you can see it, let alone on a decent TV in motion where it is much more pronounced.  Double the pixels is a fairly noticeable difference, a lot of extra detail, smoother edges.


What is humourous is seeing fans of a certain console saying now resolution dopesn;t matter when it always has since eternity. Ask any PC gamer playing a game then cranking the res up from 720p to 1080p means.... It's silly, MS is pushing gamnes to go higher and the entire industry is, why not keep all xbox games at 720p then? Total denial.


Why not just post the same thing over and over and over again? We get your viewpoint on the subject. You don't need to say it 15 times. Now shut the fuck up and go count your pixels.



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Just stop it MS...just stop it... We all know that the PS4 is noticeably more powerful. Maybe your console would be selling better if you spent less time talking about your consoles shortcomings and started to talk about it's value...

I don´t know why you insist in talking about 1080p vs 720p when this situation happened only twice amoung duzens of multiplat games released since last year.
