I'm the kind of guy who really appreciates a great soundtrack in video games and often times my opinion of the game is heavily influenced by it's soundtrack. Take DanganRonpa for example. While the game itself had good dialogue and a great story it was it's music that really grabbed me, made me want to play and made my blood pressure rise or fall depending on the track. Tracks like:

They really pumped me up and made me want to keep playing.

Then you have Vita's new IP's such as Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, Tearaway, and now Freedom Wars that all have kick ass soundtracks.

Gravity Rush has excellent music

When I played Gravity Rush I thought the music was the best part of the game (the controls and time limit missions were the worst part)

When I was in Zanarkand Ruins near the end, it was a Wednesday and my uncle told me he couldn't come round on Thursday because he had to work late, so he'd come on the Friday... well on the Thursday, on his way home from work, he was in a crash (He rode a motorbike) and died... so being the sad fuck I am, when I heard about it... I got the family picture (He was in almost all of our family photo's, he was like a second dad!) with him in it, placed it infront of the tele, and carried on playing on the Friday and finished it, just so he could see me finish it to the end!

... So yeah, that's why I've got a huge emotional connection and attachment to the game itself, as well as the OST.

OP: For some reason I always thought that Freedom Wars OST was inspired by the MGS series OST.
