That was an example quest. That's how we managed to pitch it so it was all right with all the ratings people. That would have been quite good. It was certainly different. "

This sounds.. Brutal. It also sounds interesting but these are just words and I have no idea how this would work out in the game itself.

We've known about Urchin for a while, but it's encouraging that fans are interested in resurrecting the game, which is built around a really interesting premise.

It's just really disheartening that the list of cancelled Rare games is many times longer than the list of released games. Phil Spencer may swear he's never forced Rare to do anything, but the laundry list of cancelled and rejected games suggests otherwise.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is why people like Seavor, Tilston, and Edmonds left.

i agree, i believe RARE has been forced to cancel many promising games in pursuit of profitablity 

So Princess was Elizabeth Báthory in essence...pitty this got cancelled, specially if it was in spirit of Fable.

Sounds like that one episode of Adventure Time where Marceline forces Finn to do a bunch of stuff that looks evil but turns out to be good...

No one can say they were promising games because outside of Microsoft and RARE we have no idea how these games wer pitched.

I know some people here will use to promote their insistence on MS ruining Rare, but there is nothing here that anyone should get excited about. This is derivative brainstorm session talk and nothing more. There is no GAME here. Responding to this in any other fashion belies your own personal agenda.
