You mean like when PlayStation gamers pay for DLC season passes and have to wait for months on end to play when they paid at the same time as Xbox gamers?

well, if by months on end you mean month, then kind of yes.  That is the issue with paying for a season pass.  This approach has the actual dlc come out (with the extra content, but locked for xbox gamers) at the same time, for the same price.  Then after a year, the content unlocks and the xbox gamer can play the content that he paid for a year ago...

so we have two senarios..

A) get access to 0% on time and 100% of that content a month late.

vs.

B) get access to 95% on time and %5 of that content a year late.

honestly,..  B) is the better senario imo.

think about it.

A) i can't play plants vs. zombies garden warfare at all until six months late.

vs.

B) xbox fans can play destiny the same day i do but have to wait a bit for 1 map pack.

would you rather have full access to destiny at launch but have destiny's launch miss the holiday's on xbox?   how would that not be waaaaaaaaaay more damaging to xbox.

I think the delayed DLC for any specific console is garbage. I guess it doesn't surprise me much, though. The only thing that kind of surprised me is the length of time the delay to the XB1 is. A whole year? Thanks Activision. This just hurts gamers. I wish this would stop. But, I don't think it will.

MS placed their bet on Titanfall, Sony placed their bet on Destiny, the only difference is Destiny is looking like the better bet at this stage. Unlucky for MS, better luck next time.

So funny to see people get worked up over DLC. Especially when it is MS doing it, no one really gets worked up. Seems like Activision/Bungie bet on the right horse HW-wise, while Sony bet on the right one SW-wise. Its sales on the PS4 where going to blow away the One's, anyway. Now, it's just going to be even more lopsided.

I agree that it is probably a better strategy, but it just comes off more shady, if that makes sense?

COD isn't the only game that Xbox has where content was missing for months. Not just one month.

I'm not trying to rag on Xbox at all. I'm just not sympathizing with the hate Destiny is getting from the Xbox crowd when Microsoft moneyhats games all the time.  Sony banked on a big game and it's paying off...now the masses are in an uproar. Maybe it's like what another poster said. He said maybe it's because it's Bungie, I don't know.

Can you please tell me in your own words why this is happening, or why this is wrong for Activision to do? I mean I really want to know.

it is the only game I can think of that had a season pass though, unless you can think of others?

I actually don't think it is necessarily wrong, just comes off kind of like a dick move is all.  It doesn't actually affect me as I'm getting Destiny on the ps4, I'm just trying to look at the situation from an xbox gamers perspective.
