What?  I never said you insinuated anything, you brought the playstation brand up out of nowhere as though you thought I was insinuating that the 'casual' market would move to sony rather than nintendo.  You may as well have said, "I LIKE APPLES!" and it would have made just as much sense given the context of my comment and the post I replied to previously.

Anyways, I just stated my opinion, that the reason you offered is true and is also applying to PS4 that will not reach PS2-levels as many in this thread claim.

I know a lot of sony fans on this side are having wild dreams of total PS4 domination.. And after last gen.. psp go and the vita.. i understand why you have to make a litle "thunder".. And it's ok.. you deserve it.. be proud of the fine start ps4 got..

But to start saying that PS4 will trible WiiU.. is just to fare out.. IF they are really lucky they beat WiiU (and that is not even sure yet.. (We all know Nintendo have the best "casual/family" brand.. and that.. bigest of all consurmer group still have to "decide" the winner)

Therefor.. (IMO)

WiiU 55-65 mill + 3DS 85-95 mill = 140-160 mill

PS4 55-65 mill + Vita 40-50 mill = 95-115 mill

Buttom line.. there is not a chance in hell.. that Sony combined will beat Nintendo combined


Wait wait wait you HONESTLY think that the sales of the Wii U will be EQUAL to that of the PS4?  How? Will the PS4 disapper from the market for a year or two or something? I mean it has already EASILY passed the Wii U and it is not even a year old yet. It is more expensive and has less games and is LITERALLY destroying the Wii U right now. So how in the world will the Wii U reach and tie with the PS4? I am not being funny I am seriously wondering here. 


Maybe a PS3 like comeback he thinks?

I'd say the 3DS + Wii U definitely has the edge at the moment because of the poor Vita sales :)

3DS won't have the legs the PS4 will. It'll be dead in three years or so when the next console comes out, and it probably won't even reach 85 mil. The PS4 will continue to be sold until probably 2024 or so.
