If I listen to "simplistic" instrument music i'd listen to this, I love this, I love poetry and writing, I love music, I don't like pop radio hits, I'm sorry.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Halfway decent I guess not something I usually listen to there is only a handful of new stuff that I really like I usually listen to stuff from the 80's and earlier.

Its not fair to only dole out criticism without accepting any on my own tastes so I'll post some of my favorite songs. Probably my favorite album of the last few years was "...Like Clockwork" by Queens of the Stone Age. Moving further away from their desert rock roots into more mature, artsy territory did wonders for their sound and the musicianship and vocals throughout were simply brilliant. While I personally adore every song on the album, some are certainly more radio friendly than others, so I'm posting "I Appear Missing", which follows a more standard rock format (although this is the radio edit which is a full 3minutes shorter than the studio version):

Finally some good music! QOTSA are probably in my top 3 fav bands of this generation.

3LW - No More (Baby I'ma Do Right): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drvS9w-lTMc

Thanks for thinking of me.  As a rock/metal guy who prefers people actually play their own instruments, this was a very hard video to sit through.  I know this type of music (R&B, Hip Hop, Pop) is popular among certain demographics, but I can't, for the life of me, understand why.  Simplistic, manufactured, and autotuned. Almost indistinguishable from the Destiny's Child types to my ears.

Anyways, I'm having a hard time posting something of my own because I listen to a range of music from hard rock to extreme metal.  And I figure it's pointless to post any death/black metal since most pop fans would dismiss is as nothing but noise. Which is understandable.  It's not the type of music you start with. So I'll post this.  It's the opening track from one of my favourite albums, almost 15 years old now. This is a band that started out as death metal, and kept adding elements to their music over the course of 3-4 albums, until 99% of anything resembling death metal was removed. They went into a more psychadelic sound mixed with classic rock. If you want to hear something more extreme, I can certainly oblige, but here it is.

I've got to be honest with you.  I am not saying you are trolling, but I find it insanely hard to believe that one person would actually be so into all of this music that is either radio teen pop that has 1,000,000 other songs just like it, or stuff that seems like it is blatantly provoking people on here for a reaction or to make fun of you.  Anyways, I listened to the song:

Not my style at all.  The first half of it was just kind of boring to me, and it escalates into total average radio pop.  I like lots of genres but pop is not one.  My favorite band (and album) of all time:

In all fairness to the song you sent me, I greatly prefer male vocals to female in virtually every genre I like, so that may have also had an impact on my thoughts on it.
