Don't worry about it.  Piling on consoles that are doing poorly is just the thing we do here.  It happens to most consoles at one time or another.  Everything you complained about happening to the Wii U happened to the PS3 before they turned things around.  Remember the chalkboard?

Of course I remember the PS3! I bought a launch PS3 and a PS3 Slim. So atm I own 2 ps3's. I have also owned a PS1 and 2 I want to also get a PS4 as well. At the same time I have also owned every Ninty console since the N64 and I own a SNES emulator.

The thing is that when Sony or Microsoft are hurting in the gaming industry they are not shunned upon like Nintendo. It is just unfair. Then you have stuff like Nintendo should go third party when they are financially well with around 5 billion dollars cash on hand and 3.5 billion in current assets.

Where were you after PS3 launch? Sony took an absolute beating at the beginning of last gen by fans and critics.

Last year MS was in the eye of the crazy s**t storm that was the Xbox reveal up to its very launch.

All console manufacturers get crapped on if they are doing bad or make bad decisions. Nintendo is no exception.

Also exactly what is your definition of "saving" the Wii U? If that's selling Wii numbers then just NO. If by saving you mean it selling around GC numbers then sure. But GC numbers aren't anything to be proud of. The Wii U being the Wii's successor was always in a tough spot before it even released. There were a lot of expectations from it and the reason it is being "bashed" is because it isn't living up to those sales expectations.

As I said I was there. I know Sony took not some but tons of $hit, but the difference is that if you played PS ypu were just thought of idk how to say it but crazy due to high price and disadvantages. When you play anything Ninty you are considered as a casual gamer or a person into childish things or typically a man child and weird.

I am not saying everyone thinks like this but haters do. It is just weird to see people treating a gaming company who saved the industry as if they are not around. When most people bring up the console wars it is between MS and Sony. Xb1 vs PS4. Not Wii U.

I know people say it is because the Wii U isnt competition yet iit is. Want to ignore this? Go ahead. But the other day I saw a bunch of comments saying that the 3ds is doing bad. They said that even though it is leading handhelds it has no competition. They just ignored the Vita. 3ds is not doing as well as the original DS but it isnt doing bad.

As in saved, I mean make a profit for Ninty.

I'm pretty sure that the point the "haters" are trying to make is that the Wii U will never have the library to "save" it, that of course depends on your definition of "saved", I personally think the Wii U is headed straight for GC territory and non of its games is going to save it from that.

I know some Nintendo fans will not like this, but this has nothing to do with Nintendo being treated unfairly in the industry, it's just that the majority of the industry have just decided to face the fact that the Wii U is simply a system with an extremely limited appeal and thus limited potential for success (I personally would call it a textbook a example of how to not make your console), something that some of you still simply refuse to accept.

Yeah, because paying for online gaming, no backwards compatibility, re-releases of last years games, tons of overpriced DLC and micro transactions, half finished games that needs several GBs of patching and over promising is the future of gaming...

Wow. I never knew Sony and M$ are backward-thinking degenerates who are out to squeeze out every single penny from consumer's pockets. Nintendo must be saints or something. There are flaws with every platform. Let's not ignore the better experiences that have been introduced.

Well now you know;)

The PS4 doesn't even need games to sell well!

It was foretold; in 2006 Sony said people would buy the PS3 even if it had no games. It just took another generation for the divine prophecy to come true. ;)

"Bayo and Devils third will get Action and as much as I hate to say this word: hardcore gamers."

nearly all nintendo games attract tons of hardcore gamers.

I used that word to explain the shooter and blood and gore fans. I think all the traditional Ninty games are hardcore.

You know what else? Its not just them! It sucks when you HAD an amazing company like UBISOFT say that most gamers like DLC and are not against it. There arent anymore companies that are genuinely good anymore except for EA. JK!

Why is it that I get a bad vibe from you everytime I see a post from you? Oh wait, its probably because you just reply to me in a horrible way hahahaha. No but seriously, what is up with you? Oh and im not trying to be mean but just curious.

I also don't like this counter-argument. People who try to defend their console so ardently are just as bad as those who lash out at Nintendo's offerings.

Fact is, Nintendo hasn't proven that the Wii U is a financial success. These so-called "Anti-Nintendo" fanboys should shut up, but their outlash is indicative of how the Wii U is doing, and until Nintendo can prove otherwise, the backlash will continue regardless of what you say to them.

It goes both ways OP, and your argument isn't any less childish than their's.

Well according to many of them the Wii was a big failure...

In terms of consoles sold? No doubt. It was a success and the winner of last gen.

In terms of building a successful brand? It was undoubtedly a failure, especially toward the end of its life.

It won the battle, but lost the war is what many would say.
