Anyone who is saying that the Wii U is in a better condition than the PS4 is just a blind fanboy.

In regards to the PS4, great marketing. Sony bashed MS hard and it paid off. They had tons of commercials. Sony planned this generation perfectly.

and yet youre not anticipating any PS4 games;)

Don't worry about it.  Piling on consoles that are doing poorly is just the thing we do here.  It happens to most consoles at one time or another.  Everything you complained about happening to the Wii U happened to the PS3 before they turned things around.  Remember the chalkboard?

Of course I remember the PS3! I bought a launch PS3 and a PS3 Slim. So atm I own 2 ps3's. I have also owned a PS1 and 2 I want to also get a PS4 as well. At the same time I have also owned every Ninty console since the N64 and I own a SNES emulator.

The thing is that when Sony or Microsoft are hurting in the gaming industry they are not shunned upon like Nintendo. It is just unfair. Then you have stuff like Nintendo should go third party when they are financially well with around 5 billion dollars cash on hand and 3.5 billion in current assets.

Where were you after PS3 launch? Sony took an absolute beating at the beginning of last gen by fans and critics.

Last year MS was in the eye of the crazy s**t storm that was the Xbox reveal up to its very launch.

All console manufacturers get crapped on if they are doing bad or make bad decisions. Nintendo is no exception.

Also exactly what is your definition of "saving" the Wii U? If that's selling Wii numbers then just NO. If by saving you mean it selling around GC numbers then sure. But GC numbers aren't anything to be proud of. The Wii U being the Wii's successor was always in a tough spot before it even released. There were a lot of expectations from it and the reason it is being "bashed" is because it isn't living up to those sales expectations.

Is there anyone out there who really truly wants Nintendo to exit the games market, truly? So what, allot of people don't like the Wii U, or can't justify purchasing one. That hardly means people want Nintendo as a whole to die. It just means they're not overly impressed, or attracted to the Wii U. And anyone who actually thinks the industry would be better off without Nintendo is, well, plainly stupid. Likewise with Microsoft(Or Sony), while we're at it. Whether you like the hardware or not, the competition is great for the industry...and besides, if Microsoft stopped making consoles, what would they develop games for? PC? Hah, yeah right ;)

They are threated fairly. But the weak ultra low cost hardware found in Wii-U and 3DS just cannot compete with today's standards. And 3rd party publishers need to be profitable which is nearly impossible on Wii-U. No chance for profit - no games, it is that easy. The Wii-U is a complete design failure and the 3DS cannot compete with 100$ smartphones which have a much higher resolution and 10 times more processing power.

If Nintendo fans already invested money in a Wii-U they cannot be unbiased and objective anymore because they need to constantly justify the purchase in front of themselves in order to retain self esteem. Nintendofans then make excuses without noticing and deny the complete market failure of the system. They should look at the very poor sales which are unbiased and objective. More people play Knack than Mario 3D World because the Wii-U is a niche system that almost nobody owns or wants to own.

But Nintendo's biggest problem apart from the tablet-controller is the childish image, it is extremely uncool to play Nintendo these days. And Nintendo does absolutely nothing to change that. The N64 had Killer Instict, Conker, Perfect Dark, Turok, Goldeneye and many more adult games, the Wii-U has nothing.

Certainly not.

Congratulations, you have said the exact same thing everybody else is saying. Welcome to the club, we have cookies and capri sun on the table, please make yourself at home.

If there is one reason I feel nintendo deserves all its getting, its cause they are just too damn stubborn. They have just refused to learn from their mistakes and keep digging themselves into a hole. Its almost as if they are trying really hard to fail.

Just think about anything that they could have done right. Any one thing; they probably did it very very wrong.

All they had to do was make a console that was at least as powerful as the XB1, they could still have made that controller and then marketed the system better and lobbied for full or at least on pat third party support and they would have had this gen in the bag....... but noooooooooo

they had to e nintendo.

No, it gets too much unwarranted praise/appreciation.

No sunny d?  This club sucks.

There has been hate to Nintendo since they started gaming.

1985 - Stupid company, trying to revive home gaming.

1991 - Stupid kiddie console. Sega is way better

1996 - Stupid kiddie console. Playstation is way better

1998 - POKEMON IS AGAINST CHRISTIANITY

2001 - Stupid kiddie console. Xbox and PS2 is way better than that purple lunchbox.

2006 - Stupid kiddie console. PS3 and 360 is way better

2014 - Wait. What's a Wii U?

Or, if you consider my friends strange logic. He says the only reason why xbox and playstation fans make fun of Nintendo is because they keep on getting bullied by PC fanboys so they want to pick on someone so they can feel better..
