That sucks, but what about "Premium Large Format"?
For example:
Cinemark XD
Rave XTREME
And etc.
If there are any theaters that have their own version of IMAX, then you should go to those. They even show non-IMAX movies in their version of IMAX, which also has the giant screen and advance surround sound & advance seating, plus guarantee 4K digital projectors.
