If this is true then Amiibo sales will be great. If these children want to actually use them they will need a Wii U which will cause sales to go through the roof as well because most of these children dont have one yet. Can Nintendo pull out a win from their pocket?

I will buy one or three if they create worthwhile situations and benefits in the games I play. What I would love to see them do is attach MK8 DLC to some of the Amiibos down the line. Buy the Amiibo, get a new racer, carts, and maybe even a new track!

I hope so... i don't want WiiU to be on top as the pressure will be always too high PS3 vs PS2 - Wii vs WiiU...

But second place comfortable this generation far from 3rd, close enough to first!

Come on kids.... want it, want it! U Wii(l) Want to....

Switch!!!

do children know this is a toy for the Wii U or do they think its just a regular toy.

I guess there is demand for these things but not as much to change something for Nintendo this generation. I hope im wrong and this will be another system seller like Wii Sports.

Tsubasa Ozora

Keiner kann ihn bremsen, keiner macht ihm was vor. Immer der richtige Schuss, immer zur richtigen Zeit. Superfussball, Fairer Fussball. Er ist unser Torschützenkönig und Held.

I will buy the ones that are reasonably priced for the product. If someone like let's say Mr. Game and Watch is also the same price as peach or link then I won't touch that with a twenty foot pole.

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.

Why would mr game and watch be cheaper? I'm pretty sure they are pricing them all the same, I could be wrong though.

I guess because the toy itself would look "inferior" in comparisson with the other ones, for the simplicity of the character alone.

With a good marketing strategy - this could make nintendo bajillions

I have a weakness for collecting figurines, so I'd imagine purchasing quite a few of these. Their use in the actual games is just a bonus for me, really.

I just hope they get an enormous marketing push like MK8 did. They have the most potential out of the 'smart toys' I've seen thus far, in my opinion, because they aren't restricted to a single game and it's sequels, and they're such iconic characters.

Holidays will be interesting this year...

I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?
