That's being generous; the PS3 version of Ghosts was only 600x860.

A side team, is remastering the game which is already at 60, pushing it past 60.
to Say ND is struggling with it is an exaggeration, and working hard doesn't = struggling

I did some searching around. I'm finding the PS3, 360 and Wii U versions are 880x720p.
The resolutions differ in previous CoD games on PS3. I don't think vertical resolution went beyond 720p though.

To be fair, COD is a twitch shooter, its literally the only thing that differentiated it from games like Halo or Vegas, where you don't kill enemies by looking at them
