If that was true it would have sold only a few million for 3 years after since it has only sold  a little over 100 million now. The second part is simply not true.

Wii did 82 millions in 5 years and only and only 18 millions until now so it died fast.

And Ps4 did not start to die majority of games still cross-gen and ps4 didn't get any price cut once a price cut happen and all games will be next gen exclusive ps4 will do amazing sale



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Wii's peak year will likely be greater than PS4's but PS4 likely will not have as sharp of a decline as Wii had. When all is said and done I expect PS4 to match or exceed Wii lifetime sales.

I don't even think Sony can meet that kind of shipment muchless make enough of the Gddr5 memory to make 24 million units in 12 months.

PS2 sold 50 million after the next gen consoles released.  It outsold the X360 and PS3 for quite a long time.  The Wii isn't going to do anywhere near those numbers. 

PS4 is not starting to die off.  Seriously?

You can find them in stores basically.  It's barely been a year and you can already find them in stores.  That's not a good sign for the leader of this console generation.
