According to vgchartz, the Wii's peak was over 24 million in just one year

I doubt anyone believed it would reach higher than that in 1 year. It's more about the legs of Playstation home consoles. They sell really well over time but the Wii died pretty fast.

How the hell did the Wii die fast... It was doing those kinds of numbers for 4 years straight. It only started to die off like the PS4 is now in the last 2 years of its life.

The wii basically was on super drugs for the first few years! It sold like free anal sex with virgins and it sold freakishly well but it couldnt get those kinds of sales in the late years of the wii so if the ps4 can sustain sales, it can but I doubt its going to but we will see
