It's no lie that 3DS is underperforming for 2014. After all the good we saw last year we've kind of been let down. Even though titles like Bravely Default, Yoshi's New Island, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mario Golf, and Tomodachi Life have all been fun and innovative at the least they can't possibly live up to the girth that games like Pokemon X/Y, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Fire Emblem Awakening, The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and even games like Mario & Luigi Dream Team and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D provided for 3DS last year. I am predicting (not a bold prediction) that 3DS will do very well this holiday season. The games being released this year seem to be more for a younger audience than the games last year. Another thing is the 3DS's two whopping games are coming out this holiday season (SSB and Pokemon OR and AS) so that should really boost sales. The only thing in 3DS's way this year seems to be PS4 but I honestly see that having a smaller holiday season than 3DS. Destiny, Advanced Warfare, and others are coming out but they're also available on PS3, so that might distract a few potential buyers. 3DS might be going slow now but has a huge holiday season paved out for it. Tell me what you guys think. My prediction for 3DS is anywhere from around 12.80m-14.10m 2014 year.

I agree with your sales prediction range for the 3DS, but I still think that the PS4 will beat it. Not by much, though.

The 3DS will have to gain an advantage in the summer, before destiny comes out. With youkai watch 2 next week, it could happen. Then there is smash bros, pokemon, monster hunter 4 and cheaper price point, chances are still good at this point- it will easily be the second best selling console of the year. But i still believe the ps4 will have the better year

Currently PS4 is winning but if 3DS stands it's ground and stays within a million range it could easily outperform it

This year 3DS will sell more of PS4, because on Chrismas console of Nintendo is a monster... and coming Pokémon Ruby/Shappire.

Maybe, the but the ps4 does have destiny and while the 3ds has Smash Bros and Pokemon which sells like kinky sex with your favorite celebrity, but one would think that most of them bought a 3ds during Pokemon X and Y but we will see cause the 3ds sells sooo much during Christmas
