As far as multiplayer games go, Titanfall is a blast.

Watch Dogs was arguably more hyped and a bigger disappointment.

Upscaled 1080p, I assume 900p like Titanfall, XB1 isn't powerful enough to emulate 360 games and there isn't much time to remake those games.

What emulation do you talk about? Again, post your sources where you heard that the games are 900p and are only upscaled to 1080p. This could be true for Halo2 as they are running two engines at a time but you explicitely said Halo 1, 3 and 4. A thread on GAF is the only thing right now because devs posted there: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=833898 I would like to see the source for your 900p-statement.

 

Where is the hype for a game that is to be released on a system with very few games and that is outnumbered by Sunset Overdrive? Hype measured by vgchartz where the Xbox community is not that big? Yeah, dat hype is getting disturbing, for sure...

I don;t save every article I read, and I'm not going to look it up. When the game releases, Digital Foundry will show us the resolution.

Look at that link I gave you and compare Halo MCC to other XB1 games. It's a remake and it's #2 on XB1? That's way too high, and I see too many people mention that game after Titanfall basically fell off peoples radar now.

Anyway, this is an opinion article, and in my opinion Halo MCC is way overhyped, more then any other game in 2014. At least Titanfall was something new.


You are not going to look it up, alright. I didn't expect anything other, of course. Of course DF will show us but just talking out of nothing before the game releases is nonsense.

What's your opinion about the TLOU remake? This *IS* in every gaming forum, almost every day on N4G and massiviley active here, too. Is this also overhyped?

Defenetly Titanfall, it was overhyped by a specific fanbase which made me get an xbox one just for titanfall...and now my xbox one is a 500€ dust collector, i even though about selling it. Also Infamous was totally overhyped as a direct competition to titanfall. I'am not saying these 2 are bad games but the hype was ridiculous especially for titanfall. However after Watch Dogs lost some steam after GTA5 and all the delays and downgrades it actually suprise me. Had a great time with that game.

Please, spare me your outrage.  You've been a member long enough for your posting style to be noticed. I may be a Nintendo fan and hold a certain bias towards them but at least I know I am not biased to the extent that you are.

I'm not a big fan of Sony's first party, for example, but I'd never label them as "crap" just because of that. I'm simply not biased enough to make such a stupid statement.

Okay then, I'm biased against any of Nintendo EAD's games then because I played them and found them crappy with okay gameplay, horrible graphics, non-existant story and so forth.

There other studios, like GameFreak, are much better. But its Nintendo EAD's games which are the most overhyped by Nintendo fans, and I found them to be the worst even among Nintendo's few studios.

I'm not going to save a link in the event that I could use it in some random forum debate. If anything I want to stop being on forums to play the games I love more.

As for TLoU, I don't see as much hype for it as Halo MCC. If you look at that VGC link I sent you, is it even in the top 10 for PS4? No it's literally last in the Sony section with only a single vote/point and it's ranked 24th for PS4 (in a 7 way tie).

There might be a lot of hype for the game on forums, but there is a lot of hype for EVERY PS4 exclusive right now, and this game releases in a couple weeks does it not? So it makes sense....Titanfall and Halo MCC on the other hand are being regarded as the games to "get XB1 leading in sales again" and that's just not going to happen, they won't fix all the mistakes MS has made with XB1.
