I'm curious if there's a way to change my username?

Google/forum search for this shows it's not possible (or at least only ioi can do it under a special circumstance), also something about a permaban method too, and of course just closing and opening a new one obviously...these search results were from 2009/2010 so perhaps things are different now?

So Is it possible to change my username? If there was a work-around like closing this account and opening a new (or permaban), would it show me as joining in 2014 or keep it how it is now (2007)?

Permaban yourself and create a new account.
