So may I ask what you do listen to? I'm sure I could guess, but I would like to know.

A lot of stuff...I tend to dabble in almost every genre except for country (Johnny Cash being the one exception) and pop (which I often find hard to classify as a genre due to it mostly just being whatever is popular in other genres).

Queens of the Stone Age, Astronautalis, The Pillows, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, Why?, Infinity Shred, Mos Def, Eyedea and Abilities, Gorillaz, Rush, Slint, Alice in Chains, Tool, Dozer, Deftones, Protest the Hero, Tenacious D, Cage the Elephant, Modest Mouse, POS, The Protomen etc...

Now may I ask out of curiousity what you were expecting?

That's exactly what I was expecting. I just find that *2 fingers up and down with both hands* rock fans, all have the same opinion and look down on any music that isn't *fingers sign* real music.

I listed Rock (indie, alt, prog, metal, desert and more), Jazz, Chiptunes, Old School Rap, New Rap and Johnny Cash in my post...nice try though? i look down on any music that I think isn't good, no genre boundaries here. I love all types of music, but that doesn't mean I love all music...

I dont hate on them because they are cool, get over yourself. LOately anyone who has slightly different taste in anything is labeled as a hypster. Just an hour ago I was listening to Lana Del Ray, and I absolutly loved the latest Godzilla movie, for what it is. Im not hating, to be cool, I kind-off passed that when my puberty ended.... lets say 8yeas ago? I hate them because they add absolutly nothing to the current state of the industry or value for their respective genres... they are the freemium FB games of the music/movie industry...
