I was under the impression that you were the one buying it and trading in the XB360. If it will mainly be for them, with their trade ins and money, then I agree, it should be their choice.
Maybe they are saying they can get it for $300 after they trade their stuff in? If not, you might be able to get a $300 one somewhere...who knows? Maybe they found a deal.

It is near the end of the end....
Sending in my xbox one to MS for the second time in less than a year. Nothing but problems with my system.
I would have gotten a WiiU!
