1080p and 20 fps.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I already have a gaming pc which I got for less than a PS4 so I'm fine (pretty low-end though)

Current consoles: Wii U, Gaming PC

There's nothing I can really say to this. I just want to highlight that someone somewhere can actually post something like this in a thread like this.

1080p/30fps for more recent games, an it will be completely outdated in a year.

If you're going to build a gaming PC, be ready to spend $800 minimum, more if you want to be future-proof.

Haven't watched the video, but checked the specs...R9 270 is not nearly enough for 1080p/60fps if going for highest settings, minimum is 7970/R9 280X.

Just because it can do 1080p/60fps doesn't mean it will spend a lot of time doing it.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

This actually just proves a very valid point that the modern gen consoles really are a neatly packaged (relatively) high performance gaming option for those not looking to break the bank.

This. I hate that people don't understand this yet.

Nothing wrong with what I said, it's pointless to build a PC 25% more expensive than a PS4 that will be useless in like 2 years and a PS4 will endure at least 5-6 years.
People would better invest a little more into building a PC to game. But nothing wrong with doing this either, I just don't see any good point in it.

Very few console games will be 1080p/60fps. Most will be 1080p, 30p on the PS4.
