What is Dedicated Servers in japanese?

It's going to be fun watching people get there hopes up, only to have them crushed. Seriously, "It might be working"? That's what they said about 360 there and how did that turn out?

I guess some have given up on "the new markets will close the gap" and have excepted that the One is in many of those countries, just not officially.  It is kinda weird to see some looking to Japan to be the One's savior, though.

They sold 1.6 million consoles in Japan compared to sonys 9 million. Sounds a crushing defeat until you consider it was the first time a western console had been released and went up in direct competition against two well established Japanese companies.

Yeah, very true. Microsoft could do to consoles what Apple has done with phones in Japan. Just because they are a western company shouldn't mean they should be counted out. Sony actually deserves to lose Japan if they don't get off their asses and actually release games soon, instead of counting on KH3 or FFXV which may or may not even come out in the next two or three years.

Looks exactly like advertising to the Western market but with Japanese captions. All the games that seem to be of most interest in that clip are either already out on PS4 or will be out on PS4 at the same time as Xb one.

It's certainly necessary to remind the Japanese audience that games like KH3 and FFXV are on Xb one, but they are hardly going to be actual selling points. And advertising Ground Zeroes and 2013 games? Crumbs there's really not much point in pushing those titles unless you are short on more recent and upcoming titles that are interesting to the market.

I don't see how that is working in any substantial way TBH. But Xb 360 opened to 54K and I would not be surprised if Xb one opened significantly above that, but probably not over 100K.

Why should Sony bother with a dying market? They should focus more on emerging markets than declining ones, like India and Brazil.
