Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I guess.........a SPECIFIC GAME releated one in july.
and a normal one in augusts.
then in september..........3ds smash direct.
this is what i think will happen :)
I'm hoping for one in July, but I doubt they'll have much news for Smash.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
I'm not sure what they would show in a Direct right now. They can't really discuss any of the games they highlighted in the Treehouse event. Each of those games has 30+ minutes of extensive gameplay and info. I'm also not sure a SSB Direct is necessary at this point. We know what it's about, we're sold, now just give it to us. I guess they could unveil more about the Amiibos. In particular, how other games, both future and past, will implement the tech. Aside from an unannounced game that wasn't quite ready for E3, I don't see what else I'd be interested in tuning in for. Retro's new title? Oh...yeah...that would do it.

I'll say August....maybe July though. I'm leaning towards August though. It won't be to show any new games coming out. More than likely to showcase what's been announced already and their progress on it.

I don't see Iwata doing any directs soon due to surgery. They could either do it without Iwata or do directs of specific games like Smash or Bayonetta.
