You know its bad when the mods have to use adblock lol.

I almost feel like VGC is like EA when it comes to ads... VGC sees other sites doing ads just like how EA sees Valve doing Steam DRM but then they both implement it in such a way that fucks the users to the point of where no one can stand it and the few that are trying their best to ignore the annoyances are being pushed to the limit of where even they just feel like giving up... Its just like, come on... If you want money, you gotta meet us half way or else we will use other, not so profitable, methods

Adblock doesn't help, FYI. I still get the same barrage of crap. The latest one is borderline criminal in the way it gets you to click it. Basically the entire page becomes a banner and wherever you click you open up another window with an ad.

Ad blocker, the only reason why I still brows the internet.

The worst is when on Android (no longer using a smartphone) an auto ad that redirects your phone to a game on the play store.  I heard it also happens on iphones.

OP: It's utterly unusable on phones, or tablets. Like it takes me multiple tries to even get the notification screen without a pop up. And I've noticed some ads on here despite using Adblock.
It's just incredibly annoying. Please fix the site :(

I use ad block so the only thing I ever see is sometimes a blank white page with a black banner at the top and in the top right is a button to close the "ad"

Adblock Plus lets "certain" advertising through if the ad network pays.

Adblock Edge, combined with a tracking domain blocker like Disconnect or Ghostery is the way to go if you don't want to be served malware.
