I was holding back on that one because I heard it's awfully short. Maybe I'll give it a chance!

I have no idea .

Well, it took me about 20 hours to platinum into the nexus. in comparison it took me about 36 hours to platinum Going commando(number 2). But into the nexus is quite cheap, and you do get Quest for Booty included (Quest for Booty is actually a mainline entry, but it is criminally short, litterally took me 3 hours to complete on the hardest difficulty).

Definately Jak for me, especially Jak 2 and 3.

We all know there is supposed to be a Jak 4. but damn that that was a great series. I also feel its more skill based than R&C. just a better all around game.

And yeah, Jak 2 was hard.

The first jak and daxter were incredible in my opinion. Didnt like the darker tone of the sequels one bit though.

Sly cooper i have always somewhat enjoyed for its dialogue and artistic style. It has also seemed pretty consistent in terms of overall quality throughout.

Never really been a huge ratchet and clank fan. They do have gorgeus envieroments and quark is a pretty likeable character, but as soon as you need to control clank it becomes a bore fest.

As a singular game i would say jak and daxter: the precursor legacy and as a franchise sly cooper.

Ratchet and Clank because out of the three, they were the first I've played.

Then I reccomend Into the Nexus. It was a great, and needed comeback after the two spinoffs.

Also, how do you quote two different people in the same post?

I haven't played any Jak, between Ratchet and Sly I'll go with the first one because it had quality consistently, but they are pretty close for me.

Your question... quote someone first and respond, quote the other person in another tab and copy that below in the same post you quoted first! At least that's how I do sometimes!

Kirby.

Ratchet 1 was great. Jak 1 was ok. But Sly has the most consistent of the three. Ratchet games got weirder and weirder and so did Jak. Those games changed FAR too much and strayed away from their roots. Sly didn't do that. That's why it gets my vote.

IMO Sly changed way more from 1 to 2 (and that change was for the better!) than ratchet did from 1 to 2 (and that changes was also for the better).

Ratchet & Clank. I haven't played Jak, and barley played Sly.

Difficult to choose, I feel more nostalgia for Sly Cooper but I vote for Ratchet because I feel his games are more epic since I can travel to different planets and there are many funny weapons. Love Jak too but I've only played the first game.
