Forums - Gaming Discussion - You think AGAIN that XBOX ONE passed Wii U this year? If yes, why?

The gap between XBOX ONE and Wii U is 1,750,000.

And after last week, probabily increase for the start of  summer, i predict Wii U above XBOX ONE of 2,000,000 in 30 Augost.

Can XBOX ONE sell 2,000,000 more of Wii U from September to December?

It can, but it probably won't with smash coming out, unless microsoft has some big guns they haven't revealed yet or are planning MASSIVE price reductions (which they won't do).  Holiday sales are ridiculously lopsided compared to the rest of the year.  over half of all consoles sold during the year are sold during the last three months...

well it depends how big smash will be in the holidays and how well will master chief collection sell?

Honestily, i think that in September, October and November XBOX ONE will sell more, but on December with Smash Bros, Wii U will be the 3 best seller (only 3DS and PS4 sell more)

I don't know about it being the third best seller in December.  Smash will certainly boost sales, but in the middle of the holiday boost it won't be as noticeable as a summer boost.  Plus, all the big games that come out durring the holidays will have a big effect on xbox as well, like call of duty, battlefield, etc.

The smash boost may be enough to keep the gap there, but I don't think it will be enough to outsell the xbox in december.

Yeah I don't think the X1 will pass it anymore.
