I think the game will open with over or at least close to 500k, which is pretty crazy for a remaster of a game that released last year, but a release during the summer drought and a very gamehungry young PS4 community should, in my opinion, make this possible.

Pre orders around the world seem to be doing great (at least on Amazon), especially after the pricecut and I personally don't believe the US pre order numbers that vgchartz is showing either (I'd say it has at least 15-20k pre orders more than what vgchartz is saying for that week)

209K opening week. I don't see this game selling too crazy, not with Watch Dogs still new, and selling well.

Seems high to me. The owners of PS4s are likely to be the more diehard fans who probably played the last of us last year. Not sure if one year difference is enough for people to be that keen to play it again, ill go with 200k.

500k seems about right. 31% of ps4 owners didnt have a PS3 prior gen so itll be a new game to them.  People forget that Sony only managed like ~20% marketshare in the US prior gen

I think worldwide it can do 400k.. Many people will be re-buying just so they can play it again, but also it's something to play on PS4 in a very quiet month of July (august really).. A lot of Xbox users have moved over to PS4 and haven't played it, so yeah i think it will do pretty well.

I'd say 500k easily to be honest but with great advertising I can see it hitting 1 million in a week.

I hope so. Game deserves to sell tons. I'll be rebuying to play the DLC.
