I find your lack of faith in microsoft disturbing

Or you're just underestimating Nintendo http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=182615&page=1

They won't.

The best quote I've seen this year:

-2 million of course. It's gonna be kind of funny actually.

I think we'll have to see how the $399 performs. If June's NPD doesn't show a significant boost for the One, then I think it's pretty obvious that it won't be til 2015 until the One passes the Wii U. Reason being that while the One outsells the Wii U in the US, Japan's ~25K-40K a month for the Wii U helps negate that somewhat.

Toast Panda, you meant to say how much will the Wii U lead the XBox One by the end of the year. Also, Wii U at 10 million and XB1 at 9 million IMO.

wiiU has a 1.7M unit lead right now...

...i think those thinking wiiU can lead by 1.5-2M are being a bit silly. wiiU might be winning this week of MK8 but on the year xbox is still outselling wiiU. not quickly mind you but outselling at about 120k per month. xbox should whittle away another half million by the holidays. i suppose the holidays could go either way but..

...i'm guessing xbox and wiiU will be about equal at the end of the year +/- 300k.

The Wii U has nearly a 2 million console lead and I see that either staying the same or growing in favor of the Wii U. Not because the One will sell poorly, I think it will see a boost from the price cut and some exclusives.. I just think the Wii U has a better price point and software (now and future). So the Wii U should maintain or grow it's lead. Like someone else said, these types of threads can make you look foolish. So I'm prepared to eat my words if I'm wrong (;

You think again XBOX ONE sorpassed Wii U this year?

it doesnt look to good for the xbox one right now
whos knows it could be undertracked wii u could be undertracked or overtracked
and smash can flop(doubt it) who knows

Lets see what happens over the next few months with this price cut. But for now, not looking like it will be ahead.

This was not really a price cut, they just took out the kinect which cost $100 and charged $100 less. They had the titanfall bundle with kinect at $450 for a month jumping from difernt retailers and did decent but then stalled. With this $399 console if you bought a game it would be $460 without a kinect. What they need to do and can afford too is actualy price cut. $399 with kinect and $299-349 without.
