So this always seems to be a reacuring thing every gen, PS has no games, PS2 has no games, PS3 has no games, PSP has no games, PS4 has no games, PSVita has no games. I'm really baffled as to why people think this, I'm assuming most people saying this either has never owned a Sony console and are just trolling or these people are just completely oblivious as to whats about to come to the new system.
I remember a lot of this talk for the PS3 and for a good year or two it did have a limited number of games. Here's one thread I found back in 2007 as to games people were excited for:
Not a whole lot to be excited for (lol Haze), only a few games were actually good on that list. That's just the way it is. Rigth now on the PS3 I own around 30 games and on the top of my head there's another dozen really popular games I have not even played yet (been dying to play The Last of Us).
Games seem to come in strides, the first batch of games we see in the first two years of the PS4's life will be mediocre anyone that buys a launch console should know this. After that batch of games the developers now know the full specs of the console and can really take advantage of it and do incredible things with it, that seems to be the sweet spot for games 2 - 3+ years after a release of a new system, the best time to buy a console (lower price, big bundles, tons of games).
Another thing to is it's Sony. We all know they know what we want is games and thats what they put out, new IP's, all the multiplats and great first party games, they always been like this everyone that's owned a Sony console should know this. Just be patient, the games will come. In the meantime finish playing all those amazing PS3 games you haven't finished yet.
