Well X has already got complaints about how poor looking it is. Bayonetta 2 maybe but I highly doubt X will

MK8 and 3D World is better done, but just if you think about art styles. And in that case, Galaxy is still my favourite I guess.

B2 and XCX looks fantastic though.

Yep.

The criticism is primarily about the characters though.

The first Xenoblade was the same; crude character models, jaw-dropping environments.

Due to its gargantuan scale it won't have the individual asset quality of a focussed small scale game like Trine 2 Director's Cut or Art of Balance, but it'll make up for it in sheer scope.

Maybe for Bayonetta and nooooooooooooooooooooo for Xenoblade.

Now that I have seen the rest of the game, the character models do not bother me. We still have time for some change still though.

Yeah, same; the first Xenoblade's PS2-level characters didn't take away from its gorgeous world.

Of course they're the best looking thus far on Nintendo systems. Anyone saying anything else is either looking through rose colored glasses or just being a hater.

So... which am I, a hater, or looking through rose tinted glasses? :p

The character models in Xenoblade look really really bad. Like early 360/PS3 models from nearly a decade ago. The graphics are good otherwise, but probably not Wii U's best. Bayonetta 2 on the other hand does look pretty damn amazing graphically. As well as Zelda U which I'm sure will look even better when it gets further along. Also Yoshi's Wooly World has some incredible texture work and detail going on. Right now MK8 definitely holds the Nintendo graphics title though.

i would give that to 3D world and mario kart 8 . then the upcoming captain toad and Yoshi Yarn then follwed by Zelda U. Bayonetta looks pretty much the same as the first bayonetta with a slight upgrade in visuals. The vast open world of X looks good but the character model look disappointing

Pikmin 3 looks great still.

BTW:

These are upscalled Wii graphics.  It doesn't look very good at all.
