I think hes reffering to phillips having won the first battle in the patent case they filed. Nintendo can still appeal, and i think this was only for the UK.

Hey, don't burst Iwata's bubble. Don't be shocked if he apologizes to Phillips and promises never to make another Wii U, supposedly out of remorse, then throws a big celebration with champagne and hostesses.
No one thought Wii U would be discontinued because of this...

Phillips claim that the Nintendo Wii infringes on two of their patents. Even though the patents are incredibly vague and refer to 'controlling with a device'.
Even one of their patents was filed AFTER the release of the Wii.
Shame on Phillips wanting money.

Well I dont know the exact details but it appears they one the first case in UK or something. So I hope Nintendo appeals it or atleast the cases for USA and Germany and France are overturned.
