If the price goes down to 5$ a week and free for 1 hour (aka. a trial) Im in. Thats a price I would be comfortable to pay for games that I only want to run trough

Yeah, you really don't seem to understand how rentals work. Renting a movie for 90 days wouldn't be cheaper than buying it either, that's not how it works.

The problem is Sony chose to only offer rental options. Its a money grab and people feel its gross.

I remember when Sony bought Gaikai people actually thought they would be able to play all their PSN purchases. I knew that wouldn't be the case, but this is worse than I imagined.

Sony already did something like with PS1 and PS2 games.

They are probably hoping this strategy is more profitable.

Those prices are out of touch.

People wont accept anything other than a monthly subscription similar to netflix with access to the entire games catalog.

If Sony doesn't sort out the pricing then they would have wasted a lot of money on gaikai and given everyone another reason to doubt their ability to return to profitability.
