Hello all, I wasn't quite sure where to post this so I decided to go with "Introduce Yourself" as it seemed most fitting.
To keep it short, I bought a PlayStation 4 at launch after gaming solely on Xbox 360 last-generation, and up until now I have been extremely happy with my decision to switch. However, on the Xbox I had an eco-system of friends that I left behind and I am now seeking to replace them after getting a wee bit...lonely, on my new console. I recently moved house too and so left my friends in real-life behind, and the new friends I have made do not game - their loss!
A little about me, as work I currently clean offices and walk dogs to fund the book that I am writing - an epic-fantasy novel. I read a lot of books of all different genres, but fantasy is easily my favourite genre to read. Raymond E. Feist is a favourite, as are Gail Z. Martin, Brandon Sanderson, Brent Weeks, Terry Pratchett, Terry Brooks, Trudi Canavan, and the late Robert Jordan. I also love superheroes and superhero movies, Superman being one of my favourites. And finally, the games I play range from Child of Light to Killzone, but the theme that generally ties them is a "fantastical" element - the hacking in Watch_Dogs being an example of this. Some of my favourite games include Oblivion, Skyrim, Dragon Age: Origins, inFAMOUS: Second Son, Red Dead Redemption, and the upcoming titles I am looking forward to are The Last of Us: Remastered, Destiny (it looks phenomenal!), Assassin's Creed: Unity, and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
I am definitely a team-player and would appreciate the same, I also don't mind giving up loot in games if it better suited to another player, although it seems that this will no longer be necessary with new loot-systems finding their way into games. My PSN id is: Callum_Alexander
