Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why do people still buy "warrior" games?

Because they're enjoyable as fuck.

There's people that enjoy these games... like me.

Noooooooooooooo.

Yessssssssssssssssssss.

1) Offline Coop Mode
Dynasty Warriors is a great game to play with your wife. There are not many offline-coop games left.
2) Historical Settings
Dynasty Warriors lets you play some fictional fights of ancient china. The characters of the 3 kingdoms are actually very interesting. Sengoku Basara does the same with Japanese History.

3) These games are not about skills... Well, at least I personally do not care about minmaxing and "tactical combat". They are not competitives game for me. They are best played in short burst and you stop playing if it starts getting repetitive. The next day it will be fun again.

Those games are trash.I have no prob with those who like them, but they should not speak against better games.COD is better than Dynasty Warriors and I don't like COD.

You don't like the games = noone should like them?

i dont get why cod hate every year.
i can easily say this year Cod was best fps i saw on E3
and bf was shit one with homefront

I think the better question would be why they're enjoying it. There must be a psychological reason. Like people who for some reason like to slash through hordes of generic zombies.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Sure, but it's easier to buy a DW game than a hooker.

Because they're awesome, and people have different tastes.
