Very unlikely to happen. Would require a big increase in WiiU basal sale levels. Still possible because MK8 and SSB and because XBO has not been in a much better state after its great launch last year.

Realistically, speaking once everyone on the planet has a PS4 there isn't much reason to own two consoles, so I'd cap it around 8 billion

With the help of Japan, maybe. I want to see how Kinectless fares first. But right now it's a competition to see which does least worst, not which does 2nd best.

Personally I think it's better for gaming if Wii U does better than Xb one. Former Xb fans can always return to PC, whereas Nintendo fans have nowhere to go.

But I think Xb one's prospects are slightly better than Wii U. MS can spend it's way out of trouble with Xb one, if it wants to. Nintendo can't really do the same.

I would be very surprised to see the Wii U not outsell Xbox One by a seizable margin.

Everything the Xbox One does is either old news or done better by other devices. Which is sad, as it could have been something special if Microsoft hadn't chickened out on making the Kinect mandatory, and hadn't cut investment on the online infrastructure.

I dunno...XB1 is supposed to comeback like the PS3, since its not strong in any of the less major countries and its losing in the US and UK, surely Japan will sell wonders vastly outshining the ps3, WiI u, and PS4 in the region.

Are the X1 sales on the front page accurate? Because if they are MS could be bang in trouble as as if the U stopped selling today it would take them 2 years to reach the U's total sales, if that price cut doesn't have a lasting effect then this year is going to be a painful one.

I doubt this will happen. IMO the Wii U is still tracking for 15 Million LTD.
