Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Bayonetta Special Edition - Price?

Like you may already know in Europe Bayonetta 2 will be released in two different Versions. One is the standard Bayonetta 2 Version. The other is the Special Edition with Bayonetta 1 included. Reason is probably the PEGI/USK-Rating. Bayonetta 2 is PEGI16/USK16 rated and Bayonetta 1 is PEGI18/USK18 rated. PEGI18/USK18 Software has some extra rules when it comes to sales (at least in Germany) so I think this might be the reason of the special edition instead the inklusion of Bayonetta 1 in every version. (like in America)

However I wasn't able to find the price of the special edition. Does anyone here know the prices? Or at least has a good guess?

Here a link to Nintendos own site for the special edition:

That's only in NA and Japan. In the PAL regions, there will be two editions; a special edition including Bayonetta 1 and a normal edition without 1.
Prices haven't been revealed as far as I know...

In Russia official NIntendo online shop giving it 2199 rub per normal and 2999 for special edition, which is roughly 45-46 euro per normal and 62 euro per Special edition.

The problem with the different ratings is that, would there only be one version, they could only sell Bayonetta 2 to people over 18 despite it being rated 16, since it would include content rated 18 (in this case, Bayonetta 1). This is a non-issue in the US, since both games are rated M by the ESRB. Both games also have the same rating in Australia, but since Australia is also managed by NoE, I'd guess they get two versions, too.

But yeah, as far as I'm aware, no price was given at this point. I'd like to know it, too, though. And I hope NoE will clarify wether or not the special edition includes Bayonetta 1 in physical or digital form in the near future. That would greatly influence my buying choice.

So I have to get the supesharu edition.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I want the Special edition to be like £5 more or it will be not good vs US and Jp.

I will pay like £44.99 top!

Switch!!!

I don´t care, I will pay whatever they will ask for a definitive Bayo 1 port on a disc.

Really? Once again PAL gets the short end of the stick.

Interestingly though none of the local retailers here list 2 different versions.. yet.
