Just because it is sold out doesn't mean it is limited, just means your local stores don't have them in stock and are probably gonna get some more soon

Plus you can always order online, I even checked, Gamestop doesn't have any in a store near me, but I found it at Best Buy and Walmart

That's not the case, every retailer I called/visited said they weren't going to be ordering any more stock. I tried EB Games/Gamestop, Walmart, The Source, Best Buy, Future Shop, Target, Game Center and eventually a small chain called Video Games Plus had 1. Most retailers already took it off their website too, actually all of them did. There is no more Mario Kart 8 console listing online in Canada except for eBay.

Well that is the retailers loss then

I am sure this bundle is going to be restocked just like the WWHD bundle.

The retailers said otherwise. They said that they won't be restocking, but I hope you're right. Either way.... I got mine.

P.S. This explains the huge drop in sales 2 weeks after Mario Kart. I hope that finally WiiU is selling out.

Some said that the bundle was "unavailable for restocking." They made it seem that Nintendo only produced a set number of bundles.....

It's not MK8 or the bundle stock that won't save the Wii U, It's the fact that the next First Party game releases in 2 months in Japan, and 3 months everwhere else.

Still, 2015 looks like an amazing year for Wii U

Yup. Can't wait for Splatoon and Zelda!

Guess Nintendo doesn't like making money then

Retailers were conservative in ordering and/or Nintendo was conservative in shipping the bundle (not wanting more pissed off retailers).

To be honest though if you already have a Wiimote+ your house, the NSMBU bundle + Mario Kart 8 separately is the better buy.

You get NSMBU + NSLU + Mario Kart 8 + the extra free game for about $359.99 US vs. $330 for just the Mario Kart 8 bundle.

NSMBU + NSLU for $30 more is a pretty sound deal.

Smash bros is what's going to save it. It'll double Mario karts opening week.

No one game will save the whole system. Good thing Nintendo has alot of them coming.
