I'd say WW but that's because I love Zelda, if you don't care for Zelda then Pikmin and if you hate Pikmin then go for Mario. Wii Party U is not really fun unless you play it with friends.

I plan to play Wii Party U only with friends.  In fact I don't even think I'll touch it once if I'm by myself.

Just get the Party.  You know you want to.  Who cares about the price.  It's the fun and excitement in this game that counts.  We got that one with the MK8 and haven't regretted it yet.

Not before you have to hear a lot of nonsense about the world being in danger, having to grind rupees to get a shield to deal with an annoying kid. Also, being in a dungeon in 5 minutes is not necessarily a good thing. Ocarina of Time is a bad game until you get the Master Sword. It has terrible pacing and gets boring easily. There's a lot of backtracking and zero handholding (which isn't always a good thing).

The Wind Waker is easy, you never feel like you're lost without any hint as to how to progress (not until way into the game at least) and has a far better story and intro.

grind rupees wtf have you even played OOT...there is a room with unlimited rupes convieniently a screen away from the sheild...

BACKTRACKING??? I dont think we have played the same game

I wouldn't pick Party U. If you get it retail, you get a controller with it free.

I would pick Pikmin 3. I didn't think it would be my type of game either, and seemed sorta niche. I bought it on a whim and very surprised by it. Great game.

BUT, since I already owned all the other choices when I bought MK8, I had no choice but to choose Party U (was planning on getting it anyway)

The free game is digital, so trade in value is irrelevant.

Out of the choices and what you've said, I'd say give Wind Waker a try.

But if you really didn't like it as you say and you want Wii Party U then it's a no brainer.
