Somebody else definitely made a thread about this, but the news clearly didn't reach everyone. It is good news, though. I wasn't going to buy it if it was only online/an incomplete game.

But then, I'm a cheap bastard, so...

God forbid you pay €60 for a game that could possibly entertain you for many hours. 

Never understood why people don't want to pay as much for games centered around multiplayer yet are completely fine with paying that price for a single-player campaign of 12 hours.

Yeah. They said they were planning and thinking about the local MP but now they confirmed that it will be included along with single player.
