Sony Computer Entertainment France announced this morning that PS3 installed base reached over 5 millions sales. Furthermore, they claimed that more than 45 millions PS3 games were sold to consumers. Figures dated to May 31st.

They expect revenue from "Playstation ecosystem" to grow by 13% this year, and PS3 should account for a third of that revenue, while the french videogame market should increase by 9% this year, according to GFK.

Sacrebleu ! Sadly popular games on Playstation 3 in France aren't necessarily my favourites, it's often "Fifa" "Call Of Duty" on top of the charts, but well, good job on Sony, they won't let it go down anyway, we know how long they keep alimenting stores with their systems
