No, its absurd to think think Rare's style of games wouldn't appeal to the Nintendo audience more. What next? You're gonna try to lead me to believe Sonic and Lego games wouldn't appeal to Nintendo fans more?

This discussion is over, no point in dragging it on.

Funny you should mention that.

Wii had pretty much been abandoned at that point (2012).

Check the sales of Lego games and Sonic games when Wii was at its prime.

No. Nintendo are very poor at a lot of things and would destroy all of the good ips Capcom have.

Capcom pretty much did that to themselves already.

Can you give an example?

I hate Nintendo, so all of their franchises. Except Pokemon, I still love that

So no then. You just don't like Nintendo franchises. They haven't killed anything, in fact they tend to save awesome devs and games from fading into obscurity, like Bayonetta, Devil's Third, and Monolith Soft.

For me as a Ninto hater, putting it on Nintendo consoles = ruining it.

Could you please elaborate? We'd be glad to hear.

What is there to elaborate? I don't like Nintendo and therefore don't like games on Nintendo consoles and want them to be on other consoles instead.

But is there any correlation between the quality of a game and the manufacturer of the console the game is on?

The point is alot of people don't want to buy a Nintendo system and thus don't want Capcom games to become exclusive to them, at the same alot of Nintendo fans apparently don't want to buy other systems and just rather have the company they love make the absolutely terrible decision of buying 2600 people strong Capcom just so they can get a couple more exclusive on the Wii U (I think that any of the big three buying Capcom would just be a mistake, Capcom needs to stay multiplat).

Yes. Nintendo gets inferior 3rd party games to both Microsoft and Sony and I'm sure their 1st party games would be better if they were on Microsoft or Sony consoles. Despite not liking Nintendo I do love Pokemon but think it would be such a better game if it were on Vita instead.

So you say that Nintendo games would benifit just for the mere fact of running on other consoles? I was unware that horsepower alone made better games. Why develop new games than? Just port old ones into new more powerful systems and you instantly get a better game.

Yours is a valid opinion, just not a very clever one.

I understand that. A lot of Capcom's IPs belong to multiplatorm (Rsident Evil, DMC, Street Fighter, etc.), and it should stay that way for the good of the industry and for our own good as gamers. I only wanted Nintendo to buy Capcom in my ridiculously biased wish to see Mega Man return to glory. That will never happen though :(

I get that and if for some reason Capcom arrives at the same fate as THQ then I'd say that it wouldn't be stupid for the big three to snatch up some of their IPs (Nintendo: Mega Man, Sony: Resident Evil, MS: Dead Rising for example) and some of their developers and make new games in those series exclusive to their platforms, that can be very beneficial to each of the big three, but all of Capcom is just way too much baggage for one the console manufacturers to carry without making severe personnel cuts to stay financially viable.
