I think SEGA should buy them, they clearly know how this stuff works.

No I don't think either company should take Capcom. However, like most said, if there was a choice...then Nintendo or Sony should come together and take some IP's. Titles like Phoenix Wright belongs on Nintendo and no where else, in my opinion. Street Fighter and other fighters would certainly be more popular on Sony consoles.

I doubt everyone who supports a hypothetical Capcom accquisiton by Nintendo wants it to happen just for the hell of it. At least speaking for myself I do realise that some IPs could be damaged by Nintendo exclusivity, but damn I want some desperatly needed Mega Man love. And we all that's only going to happen if someone rips the Mega Man IP from Capcom. Given the current situation with Mega Man making an appearance in Smash, Nintendo just seems the right company to do it.

And there's no denying that Xenoblade Chronicles was the JRPG of last gen.

well ehh opinion but i more hoping that if it comes down to this you split the ips to microsoft sony and nintendo

sony: resident evil,street fighter, devil may cry

nintendo: ace,monster hunter,okami,megaman, viewtiful joe

microsoft: dead rising, ghouls and goblins

FFVII does not really pass the test of time, but still remains one of the best JRPGs ever made. I like FFVIII and Chrono Cross much more, but that is just my opinion. Xenoblade however does pass the test of time when played in HD on Emulator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hzFS1DftRA (spoilers).

Sony could still get Viewtiful Joe as well as a Ghosts N'Ghoblins IP. That's something that can be shared between Ninty and Microsoft. Nintendo could definitely do Mega Man though. Can't forget about the Blue Bomber!

and of course dead rising does well on xbox(but give them an extra ip why not)

Have some of the big 3 buy some of Capcoms IPs? Sure that could be beneficial. But straight up buying Capcom would more than likely lead to way more problems than benefits for any of the big 3.

agree so yeah i was just thinking of franchises that sell well or could sell well on the consoles i think its resonable
