Quick question, do you think Sony will make another handheld? If so, when?

Heck no. They barely support the Vita as it is!

I think they will......HOWEVER if it fails as bad as Vita or worse then never again.

They likely will not. The Vita... I feel sorry for it, although I will pick it up eventually.

As much as I loved the PSP and love my Vita (just bought a 64GB memory card for it) I would not imagine that Sony will consider another handheld after how badly the Vita has sold...

It is a brilliant handheld with plenty of games to justify the purchase, really have no idea why it isn't selling better!!

They're not dumb, unless their next console is some kinda hybrid. Never in a million years would they dip their toe into the handheld market again.

I doubt it.  The Vita is 2 years old and I'm sure they intend to sell it for at least 4-6 more years.  Then I bet they make an Xperia play that is done right with joysticks and access to playstation Now.

Heeil no, Sony now doesn't even consider the Vita as a handheld anymore, it's an expensive accessory.
And so basically, they're not making any handheld currently nor in future.

I think they'll stick with vita for a long time as a PS4 companion and by that point I don't think they'll be making another handheld. Playstation and Nintendo should both be focusing their draw of games on just one console soon enough, and for Sony that will be a powerful black box.

I think they will made a new handheld just because having just one fail product doesn't mean the next product will fail too.
Ps3 made Sony lost a lot of money and look now how ps4 is doing so well,xbox was a flop xbox360 was successful,Gamecube and Virtual Boy was flop it didn't stop Nintendo from making new console Sega had a lot of flop console before they stopped making new consoles
