Forums - Website Topics - The British/Filipino Gamer from the Philippines!

Hi there! I'm really new here, though I lurked for around a year. I'm known as a Nintendo fanboy in other sites, despite never actually owning a Nintendo Console. Only 2 Nintendo Handhelds. I'm actually mostly a Abandonware PC gamer. The consoles I own are a PS2, a DS, a GBA (which I lost), and a PSP. My favourite kind of genre is shooters. Also, I like playing Fan Games and using Emulators. Also I'm very uncomfortable to swears. Also I'm an avid debater, and you can see me in sites like Factpile.  Oh, and can anyone recommend me any old shooter games that these specs can take?

Welcome to VGChartz!

As for your question, that's a pretty old graphics chipset. You might be able to run some old Unreal Engine 1 games like Deus Ex (bit of RPG in there as well), Unreal and Unreal Tournament. Obviously you could play the original Half-Life but Half-Life 2 might also run as it had pretty low required specs.

You may also want to look at:

Old Rainbow Six games (like Rogue Spear),
Star Trek Voyager Elite Force 1 & 2,
Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2,
Call of Duty (the original),
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault,
Star Wars Jedi Knight (Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast)
Quake III Arena
Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Not sure if it would run, but you might want to look at the original Far Cry too.

Thanks for the games you recommended! I have Quake III Arnea already and Half-Life too. I have a old graphics chipset 'cause my old computer broke down and
this is my cousin's old computer before she switched to tablets.

Welcome to this site, enjoy your stay 'round here.

I'm actually I kind of jealous you get to play all these games for the first time. Writing that list made me a bit nostalgic!
