Forums - Gaming Discussion - Game You Replayed The Most (That Don't Have Multiple Endings)

Demons Souls. i played that game 8 times, for a total of 7 new game +

Zone of the Enders the Second Runner more than 12 times... GREAT GAME

Around the Network

Prince of Persia, a couple of hundred times, though it's quite short. For a while I made it a habit of playing the game through every day.

Between gta San andreas and fallout 3 but I think San andreas is still the most i replayed a game

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).

Probably a Pokemon game. Can't remember which one in particular.

Ive have finished Resident Evil 4 around 200 times and still going :)

Around the Network

Gothic 3. Like 10 times and each over 100h. I usually don't replay games ever.

Uncharted games and now the last of us

I go back and play a lot of games I've finished, but almost never to completion again. Sometimes I'll open a new file and start for a few hours from the beginning or sometimes I'll go back into my near complete file and mess around or take on earlier levels again, which is what I do in a modern Mario game. What I do more often is revisit a game I've pretty much finished to get a high completion rating or take on post-game content rather than start from scratch, or go back to a game I never finished to start over and finish it for the first time. So, for games with one ending taking multiple play sessions to beat that I've actually played from start to finish multiple times...

Wind Waker/HD (4)
Minish Cap (3)
Ocarina of Time (2)
Link's Awakening (2)
Super Mario 64/DS (3)
Phoenix Wright (2)
Pokemon Silver/SoulSilver (3)
Puzzle Quest (2)
Custom Robo Arena (3)

Of course I did things like go after multiple endings in Chrono Trigger and 999... you have to! My list of first replays is increasing as more details about games I played 4-5+ years ago are becoming forgotten and I can restart them.

Probably the original demo disk that came with the first playstation the year it launched. My parents bought it for me for Christmas like in October and hid it in their closet. I was always the first person home so it gave me an hour to sneak it out and play the hell out of it. Good times.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."
