i think the problem the game is having is that is being marketed very very wrong

like the demo they showed at e3 was imo very boring

As a christian I enjoy the theme and the history: a sacred order fighting demonic hybrid creatures. As you guys know we christians believe that hybrid creatures are abominations of God´s creation and we do believe that we will have some disgusting hybrid like man-animals and nephilins (fallen angels crossed with humans) roaming and tormenting the earth in the last days ("For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah." Matthew 24:37)

So the theme is really interesting to me, I will buy it.

I think the theme is super interesting, its time we delve into different settings then generic Fantasy and modern days military.

Me too, sadly when devs get into diferent themes sometimes they cannot find a audience, see MURDERED: SOUL SUSPECT sales.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I guess I could just read the thread but I gotta go to the gym! I only read the OP. Does the game have mediocre gameplay or familiar gameplay? I mean, Super Meat Boy plays like any other platformer from the 80's but it does it so well that it stands out as fantastic. If The Order does familiar gameplay very well, it's still a winner in my book.

familiar, it feels good tough.

It might end up being a good game but they need to show better gameplay. They have larger areas but why aren't they showing them? It's very questionable to show the most bland, scripted and linear parts of your game and then attempt to calm any fears over the game and say "yeah but guys we have much larger areas in the game."

They are either doing an awful job of showcasing their game or the game is as scripted and linear as it seems.

If it has average to slightly above average gameplay, but also worldclass graphics and an amazing story I could still see it getting a meta of around 85.

The Last of Us had average gameplay above average graphics and a great story. The Metascore of The Last of Us is 95 so you know, in the end gameplay don´t matter that much

Ok I am gonna have to disagree on that one.  IMO The Last of Us had WAY above average gameplay...

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

Gameplay in The Last of Us was in no way average in so many aspects.
I will just leave this here: melee combat

I would assume Murdered Soul Suspect sold so badly because it was barely promoted and got slammed by the media. I haven´t played it myself so I can´t say anything about the quality of the game.

You can be assured that The Order will do a lot better then Murdered Soul Suspect, I mean it was already sold more pr-orders the Murdered Soul Suspect has lifetime units.

I guess it will, I intend to buy it as soon as it launches. I am interested in: Batman Arkhan Knigh, Uncharted 4, LittleBigPlanet 3, The Order andmaybe Far Cry 4.
