Looks like you got fucked. Apparently, they opened up the plastic wrap and took the Club Nintendo code sheet out and then sealed it back up with plastic wrap. They then made sure you didn't get a receipt (why the hell did you walk out of the store without asking for the receipt?, I understand not taking a receipt at a gas station but when buying a $60 game?).
That is one big conspiracy.

I think zdra's response is more likely but I am really suprised they didn't give him a receipt especially for something this expensive.

Oh yea... I missed the bundle part.... So yea his response makes more sense. I thought he bought just the game. Still begs the question of no receipt after buying a video game system.
You need to ask for the receipt everytime your go and purchase things, not every store gives them out even though it's their obligation...
To redeem the code you need to have a Club Nintendo account and register your Wii U. You need to associate the Club Nintendo account to the Wii U.Once you do that Mario Kart 8 you should redeem your MK8 code, which is located in the game case.
If it didn't come with the game then... bad luck I guess. You can call customer support and ask for help though.

^^^this is the only red card that came with the bundle. It wasn't inside the MK8 case either. I seen in an unboxing video that this same card is supposed to have a redeem code on it but OF COURSE mine doesn't have one on it.. Doesn't shit like that just make you feel all warm an cuddly inside?

Anyway, you need to call the Nintendo customer support... now.

This seems to be the case because a few more people around the net have ran into this same problem. Another person also said to just put in the Wii U serial number that is located on the bottom of the console.
So where exactly do i put it in? The eshop?
Okay so I think just registered the system and i did the survey.
Some other guys claimed that they had to wait a day or 2 for them to send the code

Ok not to jack the thread I got the Wii U Zelda edition yesterday and got mario kart separately.
Created club nintendo account registered everything got 360 coins! I see what I can get a kirby game or mario party 2.
How often do they change games and is there a way to know whats coming??????? I'm afraid I'll get something now and something better will be available next month! Doah!
