Alright I'll take the blame for this.

There's no "unofficial mascot", just I love my dog and decided to put up a profile picture of him way back when. Seems I've now become synonymous with that something like 20 profile pictures later, and other people have started to notice and doing the same. In addition some users have taken to putting the picture of my dog in their sig, which is nice to see.

But yeah, no "mascot". Just a man and his dog really
