I expect Halo: The Masterchief Collection to outsell all of Sony exclusives combined this holiday!

The upcoming Halo collection should be able to sell at least 5-6 million this holiday.

Drive Club will probably sell 600k this holiday.

LBP3 will probably sell 2.5 million this holiday on PS4. What else does Sony have? I guess some people will count Infamous Second Son leftover sales and Killzone Shadowfall so we can add another 200k to that list. That puts Sony at 3.3 million and Microsoft at 5 million. Not to mention Microsoft has games like Sunset overdrive, Forza horizons, Dance Central etc. But not counting those even, Halo should dominate the first party charts!

I don't know about your numbers, but I will indeed buy it because I have NOTHING else that I want on my own xbox one and I need to have something I actually use my dust collector for! I also have never finished more than 10% of any Halo game in the past, so it looks like it will be a perfect thing for me to grab.

However I don't know that it will outsell everything, it is just a rehash after all, of games that exist on the 360 already as well, so if someone has the same thing on the 360, why would they buy this? I don't see how they do what you think they will, but time will tell!

The United States seems handily back to the PS2 era where everyone's first choice is Sony (PS4 this time). While Halo might (big might) sell more than any of Sony's exclusives, Destiny PS4 in all regions will outsell every X One game 3 to 1. So I'm pretty sure Sony won't lose any sleep. Also, Drive Club will far exceed your prediction you seem to have pulled from where the sun don't shine (;

Assuming they sell another 4 million by years end ( which is a reasonable prediction, I think) you're looking at a 70%ish attachment rate, that's a little high, even for Halo.

Well I'm assuming the XBO will have over 5 million consoles sold by the end of 2014..........
